Churches across the world are changing their signboards to “Shincheonji”

784 churches from 15 countries learned the word from Shincheonji Temple of Tabernacle of Testimony (Chairman Lee Man Hee, Shincheonji Church of Jesus for short) and changed their signboards to “Shincheonji Church of Jesus.”

Recently, requests to add “Shincheonji Church of Jesus”, as their denomination, to their signboards and to be educated (with the word of Shincheonji) are swarming from the Philippines, India, Madagascar, the Republic of South Africa, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, etc. 427 pastors belong to these churches and their members are about 24,000.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus achieved exponential growth last year, producing a total of 106,186 graduates from the Zion Christian Mission Center. This is in stark contrast to major denominations that have suffered from a drop in membership since the pandemic.

After the pandemic, various seminars were held ‘online’ and the operation of mission centers have increased its accessibility to the Word, which an analysis say have increased the interest of people.

In fact, the online seminar of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has been released on YouTube last year, including eight seminars by Chairman Man-Hee Lee, was broadcasted all over the world in 24 languages and recorded a total cumulative view of about 20.98 million.

The churches that listened to Shincheonji Church's bible seminar signed an MOU in the beginning, but now they are going beyond that level and changing their church name to Shincheonji Church. This movement began when the head of a branch of a denomination in Madagascar made such a request to Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The head of this denomination visited Shincheonji Church and said, “The denomination has no heart to take care of the members and the church. I want to revive the church and the saints who have been wounded in their souls.” He proposed to the Shincheonji Church of Jesus to teach the Word to his 5,000 members in a total of 33 branch churches, and changed the name of church to Shincheonji Church. Not only this denomination, but also 33 churches in Uganda and 151 churches in India changed their church names to 'Shincheonji Church of Jesus'.

A pastor in India who replaced the signboard said, “At Shincheonji Church of Jesus, no one is telling us to change the name of the church. However, as I was learning the Word, I came to know that the Word of God comes from Zion and that God also comes to this place. If so, we should also become people of the new heaven and new earth,” he explained about the reason for replacing the signboard.

He also said, “How can you go to heaven if you do not know God’s will and what is hidden in the Bible? Through Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Bible is clearly being witnessed. Many people will gather where the Word is testified, and that is where we must learn the Word.”

A pastor from Tanzania said, “No one in Tanzania testifies to the Book of Revelation, and I have never studied it at the seminary. He said, "I am truly grateful that God gave me the opportunity to attend classes at the Zion Christian Mission Center," he said.

A pastor in Mexico said, “I came across the Shincheonji Church of Jesus seminar and felt the greatness of the Word. He emphasized to his members that they must know this Word, and now they are learning the Word together. Right now, I am praying that the church I work for will become the Shincheonji Church of Jesus.”

Shincheonji Overseas Churches officials said, “Aside from Madagascar, requests to teach their churches and transfer their churches to Shincheonji from overseas churches are increasing after the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony last year. We expect this to keep accelerating.” They added, “Since those churches are asking to dispatch instructors there to teach, we’re electing the instructors and sending them overseas. Even the churches changed their signboards to Shincheonji, the education should be agreed by the members of the churches and will be done only to those who want to be educated.”

According to Shincheonji, Church of Jesus, the number of MOUs for exchange between churches abroad is 5,830 in 78 countries, and about 3,700 of them are learning the words of Shincheonji, Church of Jesus.
