What are the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji?
Jesus taught us to pray the Lord’s prayer which is all about
how we should pray for God’s kingdom and will is to be done on earth as it is
in heaven (Matt 7:9-13). Therefore, through this prayer we can see that the
establishment of God’s Kingdom on the earth is His objective and will.
God’s kingdom is called Israel and appears throughout the
bible in 3 main era’s. It begins with God choosing one Pastor, giving that Pastor
a covenant, and telling that Pastor to rule over his people (12 tribes) with that
covenant. This Pastor and 12 tribes of Israel are God’s Kingdom.
I will explain to you about God’s kingdom that has appeared in
each era:
You may already know well that in Genesis 32 Jacob wrestled
with God and he did not give up. He received God’s blessings because he
overcame and also he was renamed Israel because of this. Jacob, his wives and
his 12 sons were named by God as the Israelites.
🔹Physical Israel
The one who overcomes (Israel): Jacob
12 Tribes of God’s kingdom: 12 sons of Jacob (whose names
were the names of the 12 tribes of Physical Israel that Moses governed over)
Covenant: The Israelites were to keep God’s law, Ex 19:5-6
Result: The Physical Israelites broke God’s covenant, God’s
kingdom was divided and scattered (1 Kings 11:9-11, Hos 6:7)
The work of Jesus at his 1st coming, was to re-establish
this kingdom (Matt 4:17). Jesus said in John 16:33 that he has overcome the
world showing himself to be the new Israel. He was not born of the seed of the
physical Israelites, but the seed of God (Matt 1:20-22), therefore Jesus was
Spiritual Israel, and his followers were the Spiritual Israelites. With Jesus
12 disciples, he was trying to create the 12 tribes of God’s kingdom again.
🔹Spiritual Israel
The one who overcomes (Israel): Jesus
12 Tribes of God’s kingdom: 12 disciples à who spread the gospel in
12 different directions
Covenant: The believers were to accept Jesus as God’s son,
and have hope in his 2nd coming (John 3:16, Matt 24)
Result: The Spiritual Israelites broke God’s covenant, God’s
kingdom was divided and scattered (2 Tim 4:3-4, Rev 18:2-3)
The work of Jesus at his 2nd coming is to establish
again a new kingdom for God that will endure forever. It will not be like the
kingdom and people before who did not keep God’s covenant, but it will be the
kingdom and people who all overcome and receive God’s eternal blessings. God’s
will and objective of his kingdom on earth only fulfils at the time of Revelation.
In Rev 2-3 it talks about “the one who overcomes” who receives
the 12 blessings of God, including the hidden manna (secrets of the kingdom of
heaven), white stone (authority to judge), and iron scepter (authority to
rule). It also says that this person will be the pillar in the temple of God,
and have God, Jesus and Heaven’s name written on him (Rev 3:12). Through “the
one who overcomes” who is Jesus’ messenger (Rev 22:8,16) is the one who the New
Spiritual Israel is created through, and through whom God’s eternal kingdom of
12 tribes is established.
🔹New Spiritual Israel
The one who overcomes (Israel): "New John" --> Lee Man-Hee
12 Tribes of God’s kingdom: 12 Tribes of Shincheonji (New
Heaven, New Earth) (144,000 and the great multitude in white)
Covenant: Heb 8:10-12, Rev 1-22
Result: Rev 7, Rev 21:3-5 God’s objective and will is
accomplished on earth as it is in Heaven, therefore Heaven can come down to the
earth and God and eternal life can reign again!
It is my hearts delight and honour to be a part of Shincheonji’s 12 tribes. I know that God has promised and desired this as his kingdom of heaven as the pattern of his work throughout the bible is so clear. I have all my hope and faith in the eternal life that is promised to those who have come here, kept the covenant and believe.

Thank you, Christine. It's amazing to think that there is hope of God coming back. He left in Gen 6:3 and returns in Rev 21:3. God bless.
