Shincheonji’s 2nd 100,000 graduation – an amazing success!


The Zion Christian Mission Centre, a Bible education centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee), held the 'Class 113 Graduation Ceremony' at Daegu Stadium on the 20th November. There were a total of 106,186 graduates on that day, making it the largest theological education institution in the world!

How amazing was it to see the Daegu stadium completely full of graduates – the sight is truly impressive! In that stadium 80,000 of the 106,186 graduates gathered to celebrate their course completion from Schincheonji’s theology institute, the Zion Christian Mission Centre! All of these students had completed the theology course within one year, therefore this was the largest theology school graduation ever!

 

Although there was that terrible incident in Seoul where many were killed due to uncontrollable crowds just weeks before, the graduation crowd at Daegu in contrast was carefully planned and thoroughly prepared to prevent any safety issues.

 

About 300,000 people in total attended the ceremony, and participants were represented in both online and offline groups. I was watching online through YouTube livestreaming and was really amazed to see the event being so organised and orderly. Everything flowed seamlessly – from the performances, to the speeches, the camera angles, and the card displays in the crowd – it was truly an impressive event to be a part of!

 


Amongst the graduates, were a total of 522 pastors (37 Korean pastors and 485 pastors overseas). It worth noting alongside this that also 4,300 pastors from around the world also signed MOU’s with Shincheonji since the previous graduation too!

 

Heo Jung-wook, a Korean pastor of 20 years who was participating in the graduation shared his testimony to the crowd. He said, “I learned traditional theology in seminary, but I didn’t know much about Revelation. I had only taught easy words to the saints, and did not share difficult teachings. I repent that I was a sinner who added and subtracted from the word of God,” he shared further, “I put down all my possessions and came forward to the truth. Here I learned the true theology that leads me to heaven, not the teachings of mankind. I thank God for giving me a chance to live”.

 

Also D. Jackson, an Indian pastor and overseas graduate who had also signed an MOU with Shincheonji shared his testimony too. He testified to leading his congregation of 294 members to the Zion Christian Mission Centre theology course, and they too were graduating with him that day! He also mentioned changed the name of his theology institute to ‘Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center” to continue making the teachings from Shinchoenji available in his region.


I was very proud to see highlights of the 1,158 graduates from the Oceania region of the word, where NZ, Australia, Samoa, Tonga etc… had joyful and proud graduates too!

 

Oh yes, I remember the joy of my graduation day many years ago now too! I felt like God and Jesus were so proud of me for studying the bible so diligently, and I was so hopeful for walking out a true life of faith within their will going forward!

 

From witnessing the crowds that have flocked to Shincheonji from all over the world, hearing the affirmative congratulatory speeches from the local government, the testimonies from the graduates, and also the pure and joyful expressions of the participants…. It is clear to see that God and Jesus are with Shincheonji, and that Shincheonji is being used by God and Jesus to do a great work on the earth amongst the believers right now!

What does it take to know Revelation?

What does Shincheonji teach?

  One of the things I loved when first learning from Shincheonji Church of Jesus was that everything taught was completely based on God’s Holy Bible… as well as backed up and cross-referenced by it too! I had attended many different Bible studies and many years of church services too, but it was when I studied the Bible through Shincheonji that that I was able to understand deeply about the life of faith I was meant to be living.
