NZ Food Showcase: Homegrown Raw Cold Juices

Today’s feature NZ food item:

🔹 Homegrown: Raw Cold Juices 🔹

In my opinion: my full-flavoured, quality and cost-effective raw juice option!

These food blog posts are all about showcasing the food that contributes to the everyday Kiwi cuisine!

I share the food that we are familiar with, the brands that I recommend, and the ways to enjoy each food so that you can know all about the authentic Kiwi food experience too!

🌻Description:

Homegrown juice company produce a wide selection of cold pasteurised juices and smoothies from NZ grown/sourced products. Options include flavours 100% juice flavours (apple, orange), vege/fruit blends (e.g raw energy, vital greens), and raw fruit smoothie options too (e/g berry, apple/feijoa)!

🌻How to drink it:

Straight from the bottle, or poured into glasses to share with friends!

🌻Where can it be purchased:

Your local supermarket (I like Countdown!)

🌻Cost (NZD, at time of purchase):

400ml $2.90 (as shown in my pictures)
1 Litre $7.40
2 Litres $9.00

🌻How it has become a food item familiar to the NZ lifestyle:

There are a few cafes/shops to purchase fresh fruit juices from, but you will pay a lot more than what is provided in the supermarkets, so homegrown juices are a cost-effective option. There are a couple of supermarket brands, but homegrown is the better brand in my books!

Bonus cold pasteurization fact: also known as high-pressure processing (HPP) is an all-natural, non-thermal food safety preservation method that destroys and inactivates harmful food-borne bacteria and spoilage organisms using only filtered water at extreme pressures! ✨
