NZ Food Showcase: The Classic Kiwifruit
Today’s feature NZ food item: 🔹 Kiwifruit 🔹 These food blog posts are all about showcasing the food that contributes to the everyday Kiwi cuisine! I share the food that we are familiar with, the brands that I recommend, and the ways to enjoy each food so that you can know all about the authentic Kiwi food experience too! 🌻Description: This tangy fruit is oval in shape, a bit larger than an egg in size. On the outside it has a fury rough skin, but on the inside it is a bright green edible berry fruit! It has a sweet and slightly tart taste with a bit of a crunch from its many (edible) black seeds. 🌻How to eat it: The kiwifruit is best eaten when it is slightly less than firm to squeeze. You can eat the whole thing as it is, remove the skin and cut it up, or just cut it in half and scoop it out from each half!
